To fulfill our mission of making the world better, we go to extremes to craft single origins and blends of dazzling quality. We slow-roast our beans in ridiculously small batches, cupping constantly to check for quality. We spend months perfecting our unique collection of blends.
When it comes to Fair Trade, we follow a higher standard, contracting with Quality Assurance International to certify all our documentation and perform on-site inspections - and we provide farmer-to-warehouse documentation to anyone who asks. We pay above the Fair Trade price as certified by FLO. We go out of our way to support emerging Fair Trade Cooperatives through the FLO and Organic certification processes.
Larry's Beans is proud to join the Ethiopian Coffee Network — we applaud the Network's efforts to return more revenues and control to the individuals who make Ethiopian coffee possible, namely the farmers. We see the network as critical in empowering the farmers and caretakers of some of the world's most unique coffees and ensuring that the connection between farmer and consumer is transparent, honest and open.
